Crypto ETFs are now available from one of the largest asset management companies in the world.
State Street Global Advisors launched the Digital Asset Ecosystem ETFs DECO and HECO as well Transformative Tech Accelerators ETF TEKX.
DECO is a stockholder in companies “well positioned to benefit from the growing adoption of the blockchain and digital asset industries,” As well as cryptocurrency ETFs. HECO manages the volatility by using covered call and protective puts options.
TEKX Targets “companies within the value chain supporting new disruptive technologies,” Include both AI and blockchain.
The launch comes a few months after SSGA announced in June that it had partnered with Galaxy Digital to sub-advise the three products. Actively managed funds are marked with the “SPDR Galaxy” brand.
SSGA — with $4.4 trillion total assets under management — is behind only BlackRock and Vanguard in terms of AUM within its ETFs specifically. The company launched the first-ever US ETF — the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) — in 1993.

SSGA will not launch any spot crypto ETFs for the time being. Over the last nine trading sessions, US-listed BTC fund have seen net outflows totaling $1.2 billion.
