JPMorgan estimates that exchange-traded product (ETP) for XRP (Solana) and Solana SOL could bring in over $15 billion net.

Bitcoin ETPs reached $108 billion in assets within their first year of trading, representing 6% of BTC’s total market cap of $1.8 trillion. Similarly, Ethereum ETPs achieved a 3% penetration rate within six months, amassing $12 billion in assets compared to ETH’s $395 billion market cap.
Using adoption rates of $3 to $6 billion as benchmarks for SOL, XRP may attract $4 billion to $8 billion.
The ETFs will not be closed
A recent CoinShares Report shows that ETPs tied to Solana have nearly $1.6 Billion in Assets Under Management (AUM).. XRP’s assets total $910 millions.
The net flow for each ETP reached $438 millions and $69 in 2024.
While the US is unlikely to see a similar outcome, approval of ETFs indexed both assets would increase their AUM.
Bloomberg ETF analysts James Seyffart & Eric Balchunas have recently highlighted that President-elect Donald Trump’s administration could favor new approvals.
ETFs that are tied to Litecoin(LTC) or Hedera(HBAR) will be more likely approved in the first place. LTC forked from Bitcoin and therefore is more likely to get classified as a commodities, whereas HBAR is not a target of regulators, so it is less likely to become classified as a securities.
SOL, however, is treated in a different way. US Securities and Exchange Commission Recently rejected Solana ETFs are available, but RippleLabs continues to fight the regulator on whether XRP is a securities.
Bloomberg analysts predicted a new wave of ETFs in this year. However, XRP products and SOL could be delayed.
