Polymarket’s crypto-side gives Trump 58/42. It also leads the open interest. Drift Protocol’s BET, a platform built on Solana’s blockchain, is a noteworthy contender to add to the crypto landscape. BET boasts a trading volume of 20 million dollars per day and gave Trump a 61% probability as of 11am ET today.
Betfair Exchange reports that total bets amounted to 136 millions pounds (roughly $176 million).
Kalshi, an event futures exchange that was recently legalized, has received over $12,000,000 in bets by users since its launch. PredictIt has a substantial user base. However, the open interest numbers are not disclosed.
Robinhood and Interactive Brokers have joined Kalshi in offering betting options to US citizens, after the two companies won a court ruling that allowed them to trade election results. Interactive Brokers reported that over one million contracts have been traded since its launch on October 3. Robinhood doesn’t make its open interest numbers readily available.
