MOODENG is the latest memecoin with an animal theme to take over crypto. The coin was inspired by viral internet sensation Moo Deng — whose name translates to “bouncy pig” — a two-month-old pygmy hippopotamus in Thailand’s Khao Kheow Open Zoo.
MOODENG has become the first memecoin to have a 200 million dollar market cap within recent months.
It was created by pump.fun, a memecoin creator on Solana. The market capitalization is $255 millions and the trading volume in the past 24 hours has been $64,000,000. The coin is now the 22nd biggest memecoin in terms of market capitalization.
The memecoin inspired the creation of memecoins to accompany Moo Deng’s siblings Moo Waan and Moo Toon, as well as her mother Jonah. Moo Deng has an unofficial fan page on Twitter with nearly 50,000 subscribers, as well as token listings at several CEXs such MEXC and HTX.
Arkham Intelligence claims that an $80-purchase of MOODENG made four hours following the launch by a trader has increased to $3.55 million in just 15 days.
Audius launches pay-to-unlock
Audius has announced the official launch of the Web3 music streaming services Audius on Friday, after almost 11 months in private Beta. “pay-to-unlock” All users can benefit from monetization.
