Apollo Global Management Workday will Join S&P 5000

Apollo Global Management and Workday will join the benchmark S&P 500 later this month, S&P Dow Jones Indexes said Friday. 

Workday (WDAY), and Apollo Global Management, (APO), will replace Qorvo’s (QRVO), and Amentum’s (AMTM), respectively. These changes will come into effect on the morning of Monday December 23.

Amentum was added in October, taking the spot of Bath & Body Works (BBWI).

Texas Pacific Land (TPL), which had replaced Marathon Oil (MRO) in the index since November, was added to Friday’s list.

Qorvo and Amentum will move to the S&P SmallCap 600.

The S&P 500 is up 28% this year through Friday's close.
