Microsoft’s (MSFT) artificial intelligence assistant Copilot is now available in Microsoft 365 for consumer applications. Microsoft also increased the price of the subscription for the bundle for the very first time, since the launch.
Microsoft announced in a Thursday blog that the move will give Microsoft 365 users access to AI-based features for Word, Excel PowerPoint Outlook and OneNote, which can create content on demand. The monthly AI credit allocation will be given to subscribers for these tasks.
Microsoft 365 also adds an app called Microsoft Designer. This application can edit photos and even create them using AI.
Microsoft 365 Personal Subscriptions, and Microsoft 365 Family Subscriptions, will now cost $3 more per month, or $9.99 and $11.99. Or $99.99 and 129.99 respectively. The family subscription can serve up to six users.
Microsoft’s shares fell 0.4% to $424.58. They've gained close to 8% over the past 12 months.
