Tesla’s (TSLA) shares were the S&P 500’s top gainers Tuesday as the Magnificent Seven big tech stocks rose on Christmas Eve.
Shares of the EV maker finished the day up more than 7%, making them the best performer sin the benchmark index—ahead of Super Micro Computer (SMCI), which rose about 6%.

Amazon.com, (AMZN), has added the most to its stock price. It is now up 1.8%. Meta Platforms (META), a company that provides software platforms, added 1.3%. Apple (AAPL), Microsoft(MSFT)and Alphabet(GOOGL), were all in the black.
All of the S&P 500's 11 sectors were in the green today.
